Lovelogue - 9th Standard

Continution...

After some days, We didn’t discuss about it for some days and finally one day…

she said “U know I am in love”…

I was shocked and like a poor child waiting for his meal was expecting my name next.

She said “U remember one guy had bet to know whether we love each other or not.  Such a stupid guy he is.  We are best friends and he doesn’t know that.”

With all the dreams shattering behind I managed to say “Yes… we are just best friends.”

She said “U don’t want to know the guy I love?”

I said “Of course I do, I am ur best friend.”

She said “He is none other than the same guy who wanted to know whether we love each other or not.”  saying that she was blushed showing her chubby white cheeks turning pink and ran away inside her house.

I stood there for some time and started moving.  Only one phrase ringed in my mind ‘Move on’…

Even though I didn’t wanted to know, I started hearing about their stories every now and then and that too in her own words.

She didn’t come to class for 3 straight days and came to know that her boy friend dumped her and is going around with some other junior girl.

She resumed school but was not the same girl anymore.

The phone rang. On the other end,
it was her. She was in tears,
mumbling on and on about how her
love had broke her heart.
She locked her inside and was in dark all time.
As I saw her later,
I stared at her soft eyes, wishing she was mine.
After 2 hours, after an appeasing discussion, she decided to go home.
She looked at me, said 'thanks' and smiled at me..
I want to tell her, I want her to know that
I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why.

Continuation....

The year ended in high note and I was waiting for the next year to start…

I went to the staff room to find that Mathematics teacher resigned as she is getting married and settling down in Kerala…

I felt like the whole world was closing on me… that was a big disappointment…

Life moves on and so do I…

Living in a BoysVsGirls world that time… The whole of my community (Boys) would always wanna compete and win Girls… We outsmarted them in every other event (sports, culturals, etc.,. )… (Till the end we couldn’t beat them in grades though… :=))))

There was one girl in my class with whom I used to pick quarrels pretty easily...  But these doesn't stand long.

It continued for quite a while and suddenly one guy told me that “u guys have some chemistry going on…”

I didn’t understand it that time.

I joined private Mathematics coaching classes as all my buddies have enrolled.  8 – 4 fun time was not enough for us… :=)))

She also joined the coaching classes and I used to pick her up from her home… Her parents trusted in me and thought it would be safe to go with me… I had a pretty good image in the society… :=)))

We were five mates paired up for the classes daily… we used to chat about anything and everything on our walk…  It was almost 3 Kms from our place but still we decided to walk to the place as we thought can have some time chatting and never ever regretted the decision….

I started feeling better in her company and never skipped the coaching classes.

Time started flying away again and I lived through every moment of it in gay.

She became responsible for all my sleepless nights and wonderful dreams if I get to sleep…

Two guys had a bet for 5 bucks… they wanted to confirm whether I and that girl love each other...  I came to know about it later though…

Suddenly one day, the other guy told her that he wants to talk to her for some time…  They were walking some 10 yards before the rest of us and one guy in the team who knew about it broke what all that fuzz is all about…

Deep inside I was pretty anxious to know the result…

After some time, that guy started walking towards us and my heart started pacing faster than light…

She further inquired whether I had sent him to know about it and he told her about the bet…

He told us that she didn’t answer and asked for the other guy who is involved in the bet…

The next day I couldn’t make eye contact with her… she went and sat in the last bench all alone the whole day…

I didn’t speak to her the whole day and she skipped the coaching class that day…

I started feeling bad…

Next day I could see some difference.  She was back to her normal rhythm.

As I sat there in coaching class,
I stared at the girl next to me.
She was my so called '
best friend'.
I stared at her short, curled hair,
and wished she was mine.
But she didn't notice me like that,
and I knew it. After class,
she walked up to me and asked me for
the notes she had missed the day before.
I handed them to her.
She said 'thanks' and smiled at me.
I want to tell her, I want her to know
that I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why.

Warning : This post would get u nostalgic.

Feb 14 – Valentines Day…

Be it a crush, attraction, foolishness, unreal, stupid… what ever it is there would be only one name for it all LOVE… atleast for a second…
And I am sure that, that every second would be inscripted on ur heart for ever...

These ROM memories would never be erased… :=)))

How about a story on it… So here it goes…

*************************************************
It all started when I was 11 years old….
That was my first day after summer vacation and the first class was Mathematics.

The whole class was excited to attend the first class after a break…(But I bet 1 day would be it… :=P )

We were all chatting, pulling each other and suddenly a voice broke… “Good Morning Students” and we automatically stood up and replied in chorus… “Good Morning Miss” (We use Miss instead of Mam)
I still remember the sight of her… I don’t know whether she was the beautiful woman in this world but it had hit me… hit me really hard that I don’t know how long it took but it took some time to recover until the introductions were already on and it was my turn to introduce me to the new teacher and the whole class is waiting for me to finish it…

Thanks to my buddy who poked me to get me back to senses and I completed a fumbled intro… then regretted, what an impression it would have left about me on her…Forty minutes of the times disappeared in no time and before leaving she asked for the “Class Leader” and I was thanking my class teacher and my mates for electing me before the class started…

I stood up in response and she said “Srikanth, could u get me the name list of ur class?”
She remembered my name inspite of my fumbled intro… I said “Sure Miss… I will hand it over to u during recess”
These were the first words we exchanged…

It was too early for me to name this feeling… I decided that day that I would marry her and her only what ever happens…

I concentrated hard in her subject to impress her by getting good scores…

I was completely in a different world when ever I had to talk to her...

I always prioritized Mathematics assignments and never ever left a black mark in her views... I had to compromise that by skipping some other assignments and getting punishments for that though… :=)))

She taught me Venn Diagrams and I still follow this in all my analogy… The unions, intersections and the set differences are registered deep in my mind…

As I sat there in Mathematics class,
I stared at her.
She was my so called 'Maths Teacher'.
I stared at her long, silky hair,
and wished she was mine.
After class,
she walked up to me and asked me for
the ‘class names list’.
I handed them to her.
She said 'thanks' and smiled at me.
I want to tell her, I want her to know
that I don't want to be just a student,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
and I don't know why.

slog·ger noun

Hope u guys would have guessed what this blog is all about by now.

What do u get by slogging?

There is a straight and simple answer for this… NOTHING…

Then why do people slog…

Still I don’t know why in this so-called fast moving world, there are some who still drive in a bullock cart.

This sect which I am talking about has a principle.

“Slogging solves all issues”

But I strongly believe slogging slows u down. It kills the spirit in u.

How???

If u finish a task by slogging, u clearly leave an impression to others that u can complete the task in lesser time. By this ur deadlines are shortened.

To be successful in this run, u surely have to be FAST & CONSISTENT. The days of SLOW & STEADY are all gone.

And to maintain the pace, u will slog a bit more. The more the consistent u look the more the noose tightens around ur neck.

Let me give u a peek of the after effects…

· U wont be able to make it up to the friends parties.

·· U will stop contacting them.

·· Even ur timely mails like “Hey!!! Wassup!!!”, “Hows life” would halt.

· Slowly ur friends lose u. (not intentional though… just practical…)

· U will become a night crawler.

· U would rather participate in the family affairs over phone. (though u stay with them.)

· Those cheeky chat sessions with ur family & friends is lost forever.

· Slowly u lose ur family. (they are not responsible though…)

· U become a paying guest in ur own family.

· More importantly, U wont have time for urself.

· Ur food habits chages.

· Ur health will detoriate without ur knowledge.

· Ur body clock functions but can never guarantee its battery life.

· Ur taste will die... especially ur dressing sense… ;=)

· Forget about ur body shape, even an earthen pot looks gud… :=P

In short, ur personality is all screwed up.

U may think that u would be very successful in ur professional life. U would always be called a ‘PERFORMER’.

U think so… better give it a thought…

Every thing in life has a saturation point.

Once u reach it, the whole picture changes.

U feel stressed as u require something else in life which u don’t know what but is missing.

Slowly, ur performance degrades.

The whole community which called u a performer starts showing its naked face.

By the time u could retaliate both ur professional and social life would have been screwed up.

Here, I am not insisting on taking sides or making choices.

In this case all u need is a TRADEOFF.

Don't ever let the situation dominate u. Be assertive.

Let the white light pass through the prism to disperse rainbow rather than passing it through the shit hole…

U can earn the lost money but not the lost seconds.

Guys, so better think before u slog.

There are some who like watching others slog…

I don’t have any clues on where to position these freaks though… :=P

Even in cricket sloggers can never sustain… :=) They can hit some quick runs but never will have the class…

Wake up and act smart.

God Of War II

Warning: gamers Stuff!!!

After slogging for two weeks straight at work, I needed a stress buster. And which can ever beat the games in reliving stress.

Here is my next conquer. This has improvised puzzles and enemies from the first part. Sometimes, I took help of the walkthrough’s though…:=P (But not always)

The moves were all the same with the names being altered. Now the war is not for the Gods but against the King of Gods– Zeus.

It’s time to challenge Gods with the ally of Titans and show the world the great war ever.
I liked the climax of the game which says

THE END BEGINS…

So, waiting to put my hands to end the Great War…(God Of War III)

The Ghost of Sparta is tamed till then….

Game Plot:

God of War II takes place some time after the events of the first game; Kratos, after his defeat of Ares, has become the new God of War, but has not been accepted by the other members of the Greek pantheon due to his ruthless treatment of the other Greek city-states. Kratos is still haunted by memories of the deeds from his past while working under Ares. He finds enjoyment the only way he can, by leading and aiding his Spartan army in conquering Greece.
Athena pleads that Kratos stop, telling him that she cannot protect him much longer from the wrath of the gods and that he should not turn his back on her because it was she who made him a god. Kratos replies that he owes nothing to her and descends to Rhodes to assist his Spartan army.
As Kratos arrives to destroy the city, an eagle, which Kratos believes to be Athena in disguise, robs him of almost all of his godly power, infusing them into the Colossus of Rhodes and bringing it to life to kill Kratos. After a protracted conflict with the metal giant that rages across the city, Zeus offers Kratos the Blade of Olympus, which Zeus himself used to overthrow Cronos and the Titans.
At Zeus' behest, Kratos infuses the blade with his godhood, rendering him mortal but enabling him to destroy the Colossus from the inside. As Kratos jumps from the falling Colossus, he shouts to the gods if he needs to prove anything more to them. However, Kratos is crushed and severely wounded by the Colossus' falling hand after the battle. Kratos realizes he must retrieve the Blade of Olympus to save himself.
As he slowly gets up and limps his way to the sword, Zeus reveals himself as the eagle that stole his power. Zeus explains he betrayed Kratos to save himself and Olympus from the same fate as Ares. Zeus then offers Kratos one final chance at being a god, provided that he forever serve him. Kratos says he serves no one, and Zeus, claiming Kratos has left him no other choice, slays him.
Zeus tells Kratos that the path was his own choosing and, though mortally wounded, Kratos still defies Zeus, saying that 'a choice from the gods is as useless as the gods themselves'. An enraged Zeus drives the blade further into Kratos' chest. Zeus whispers that everything Kratos has ever known will suffer for his sacrilege - Kratos will never be the ruler of Olympus and 'the cycle ends here'. He then pulls the sword out of Kratos and uses the weapon's power to destroy the fighting warriors of Sparta and Rhodes. As Zeus is walking away, Kratos gives him a warning as he dies: "
You will pay for this, Zeus… Be certain of that."
However, as Kratos is being dragged towards an eternity of torment in Hades, he is saved by Gaia, the mother of the Titans who reveals herself to be the franchise's narrator and offers an alliance; when the Titans were defeated by the Olympians, they were punished and humiliated, and they want Kratos' help to exact revenge. Kratos escapes the Underworld and is bidden by Gaia to find the Sisters of Fate in order to change his past. She gives Kratos the aid of the magical horse Pegasus to traverse the distance to the Fates.
Kratos and Pegasus, after a detour to a mountain that houses the Titan Typhon and the former Titan Prometheus, fly to the Island of Creation where the Sisters of Fate (the Moirae) await. As he explores the island, Kratos encounters the likes of Theseus, whom he kills in battle to determine who is the greatest warrior of Greece (and to take his key in order to venture onward), Perseus, who is there to change the fate of his beloved Andromeda, and the revived Barbarian King from the original God of War who has fought his way out of Hades to change his fate.
Kratos also encounters an elderly Icarus who is on the brink of insanity and tackles Kratos off a cliff, saying that it is his fate, none others, to seek an audience with the Sisters. While both are falling, Kratos rips off Icarus' wings and sails below the Earth where it is being held up by Atlas, as Icarus falls to his death far below.
Kratos lands upon the Titan Atlas below the earth and tries to communicate with him. At first, Atlas refuses to help Kratos, bent on crushing the human for what he has done to him. However, Kratos manages to persuade Atlas to help him so that he may change his fate and kill Zeus. The Titan accepts the offer, giving Kratos the last of his magic and helping him back to the surface so that he may continue his quest.
After an expedition through the Sisters' Palace, Kratos encounters an unknown warrior who is also seeking to reach the Sisters. Without either of them knowing who the other one is at the time due to the darkness, Kratos rams the man through a stain-glass window after a fight and is shocked to see that the man is the very Spartan he had told to return to Sparta and prepare for a battle against Olympus. The Spartan reveals that Zeus has destroyed Sparta and that he was seeking the Sisters to change that. He tells Kratos as he dies that he has faith that Kratos will finish what he has started. Kratos is despondent and bereft of the will to carry on, but is inspired by Gaia to continue the battle. She promises Kratos that Zeus will fall, saying '
this battle is just the start of a great war that is to come...'
Kratos finally confronts the Sisters, Lakhesis, Atropos and Clotho, who operate and defend the Loom of Fate, which rules the lives of mortals and gods alike. Kratos first encounters Lakhesis. She reveals that it was she who decided the Titans lose the Great War and allowed Kratos to come this far. They fight and Kratos defeats her, but she then summons Atropos, who takes Kratos back to the time of his final fight with Ares in the first God of War.
As Kratos and Ares disappear (as Kratos fights to protect his family in an illusion caused by Ares), Atropos attempts to destroy the Blade of the Gods—the sword that Kratos used to kill Ares—reasoning that if the sword is destroyed, Ares can kill Kratos, causing him to die in both the past and the present. He stops her and goes back to the present to face Lahkesis one more time. As he fights Lahkesis, Atropos intervenes from the three mirrors in the room, meaning Kratos must fight both at the same time. Kratos destroys Atropos' first two mirrors, then traps Lahkesis and Atropos in the last mirror and destroys it, trapping the two Sisters in the past for eternity, and opening the path to Clotho, who pleads with Kratos as he approaches that his manipulation of fate will destroy everything.
It should be noted that before entering Clotho's chambers, Kratos sees three murals describing past, present, and future events. The first referencing the Great War between the Titans and Olympians in the past and the threat of its revival, the second showing a lone man surveying the carnage of a great battle that is waging on below him, and the last alluding to the journey of The Three Wise Men toward the birth of Christ. Upon reaching Clotho, Kratos impales her in the head with a swinging blade, leaving him to control the loom.
He first goes back to his death at Zeus' hands in Rhodes, reclaiming the Blade of Olympus and inciting a lengthy battle with the King of the Gods. At the end of the fight, Zeus is striking Kratos with an unstoppable lightning storm, leaving Kratos to call out to Zeus that he surrenders. Kratos asks him to release him from his life and his torment, and as Zeus is about to execute Kratos, stating that "I would release you from your life, my son, but your torment is just beginning", Kratos dodges the blow and pins Zeus' hands to the rock with his blades. Kratos then takes the Blade of Olympus and begins driving it into Zeus' abdomen.
Athena arrives and defends Zeus. Kratos angrily battles her, snarling at her for having the gall to stand against him. Athena replies she doesn't wish to fight, but she will defend Olympus. The badly wounded Zeus attempts to escape, telling Kratos he has started a war he cannot hope to win, as the Fates have already deemed Zeus victorious. As Kratos tries to charge forward and slay Zeus as he flees, Athena interposes herself, saving her father at the cost of her own life. Her dying words reveal that Zeus' actions are meant to break the cycle of son killing father, which goes back to Cronos killing Uranus, and Zeus defeating Cronos.
By killing Kratos (the son) before he can kill Zeus (the father), Zeus had hoped to break the cycle—thus revealing that Kratos is, in fact, Zeus' own son, and begs him to relent in his quest for vengeance. After a moment of apparent shock and shame, Kratos darkens and snarls that he has no father. Athena dies in Kratos' arms, saying that all the gods on Olympus will deny Kratos, defending Zeus so Olympus will prevail. She says that even though Kratos wishes to kill Zeus, Zeus is Olympus. Kratos then vows to exact retribution on Zeus and any god who will deny him his vengeance, screaming that their time is at an end, swearing that '
If all on Olympus will deny me my vengeance, then all on Olympus will die!'
Returning to the Loom, which is now collapsing, Kratos uses it once again to go further back in time to The Great War as it ends. Kratos screams to Gaia, "Gaia, we can win the Great War! But not in this time! Together, we will destroy the petty gods and we would see Olympus crumble before us! Return to my time. Victory awaits you." He then brings Gaia and the Titans back to the present with him. Meanwhile, Zeus rallies his fellow gods Poseidon, Hades, Hermes and Helios together (the identities of these gods were confirmed in God of War: Chains of Olympus), urging them to unite and defeat Kratos. As Zeus spits out triumphantly, "Olympus shall prevail!", the entire temple of Olympus begins to shake. The gods run over to the balcony to see the Titans brought forward in time by Kratos beginning to scale the mountain and bearing Kratos with them to end the Great War between the Gods and the Titans once and for all. As Zeus looks down in horror, Kratos shouts up to him, "
Zeus! Your son has returned! I bring the destruction of Olympus!" as the city below them burns.

The game finishes with a prophetic warning: The End Begins....

God of War

Warning : gamers stuff!!!

After continuously hooked on to my PS2, I defeated the God of War. Though it’s a bit late after its release when actually I got my hands on it. It was an awesome experience. The pissed of look on the characters face and the sturdiness in his character is a surely a plus for the game. Each and every level has a challenge which can’t be crossed by jus severing all the enemies but to think and solve the puzzles.

With Greek Gods (Zeus, Poseidon, Athena, Hades, Ares (earlier God of war.. :=))))) the game just gets more cinematic story board. The purpose of the mission is clear and simple. I am lost of words describing the nuances of it.

Now its not Kratos(the character which drives the game) who is the new God of War, Its

I - God of War.

This game keeps u jolted to it till the end. New puzzles to solve and deadly enemies to kill. Get the spirit of the Spartan from within... So guys get ur hands on this and I bet u would fill ur blogs with ur experiences…

This God of War will be watching u till then… :=P

GAME PLOT :

God of War is a third-person action video game, focused on the player using melee attacks, magic abilities, and combinations of the two to defeat foes. The player controls Kratos' movements, including jumping, swimming, and climbing, as well as his attacks. Kratos' primary weapons are the Blades of Chaos, which can be used in a number of different types of attacks, varying in power, speed, and range of damage. Throughout the game, Kratos also gains the abilities of several magical artifacts, such as the head of Medusa that can be used to turn foes into stone. Damaging and killing an enemy will release one of three types of orbs: red orbs can be redeemed to power up Kratos' attacks, and green and blue orbs immediately restore Kratos' health and magic, respectively. As the player fights, a meter reflecting the "Rage of the Gods" begins to fill; when the meter is full, the player can activate the power by simultaneously pressing the L3 and R3 buttons. Kratos is engulfed by electricity, and the power of his attacks are temporarily increased. Should Kratos lose all his health, the game is over, but the player has the option of restarting at the last checkpoint; the game will also offer the player the opportunity to attempt the game at a lower difficulty level if they have restarted from the same checkpoint several times in a row. The lower difficulty only changes the enemies skill, and does not help in the many puzzles throughout the game.

When certain enemies, in particular certain boss battles and larger foes, are low in health, the player can initiate a special Quick Time Event killing sequence as indicated by a marker over the enemy's head (the Circle button symbol). This starts a sequence of moves by Kratos that will display a controller button or an analog-stick action briefly on the screen during the attack; the player must hit that button or move the analog stick as indicated within a short time for the killing sequence to continue, otherwise the sequence will be broken and the enemy will grab Kratos and toss him away. However, if the player successfully responds to each sequence, then Kratos will finish off the enemy in a bloody and spectacular fashion, and gain a higher yield of orbs. Most bosses can only be killed using these "fatality" minigames, increasing the cinematic feel of the game.

In addition to the melee aspects of the game, the player will also need to solve environmental puzzles, such as sliding boxes or statues around to depress switches, turning levers to open doors, or similar moves. Chests are scattered about the levels, and can be opened to reveal orbs, gorgon eyes, or phoenix feathers, the latter two can be collected to expand Kratos' health and magic capacity, respectively. Destructible environmental objects can also be broken to retrieve red orbs. Each of Kratos' abilities can be improved using the red orbs; each of the abilities have several levels that improves that ability's effectiveness as well as introducing new combination moves the player can use.

Most of the foes in the game are inspired by creatures from Greek mythology, including Medusa, the Minotaur, and the Lernaean Hydra, among others.

Wait few more days for God of War 2 blog… I am game for it… :=)))
